Brea Beal Has A Family Inspiration From Kevin Beal and Nicole Adamson

Brea Beal was born to an American family in Rock Island, Illinois. Brea grew up playing basketball with her father Kevin Beal.

She is a college basketball player. Beal plays for the South Carolina Gamecocks of the Southeastern Conference. 

She joined South Carolina in 2019, and her defensive skills helped her to become a regular starter. She led the team to reach the Final Four of the 2021 NCAA tournaments. 

Brea also participated in swimming and gymnastic. Focusing her career on basketball, she played for Rock Island High School and led the team with a 29-4 record. 

As a sophomore, she was awarded Illinois Miss Basketball, along with Tamika Catchings and Candace Parker.

Selected as Quad-City Times female athlete of the year she was ranked by ESPN as the tenth-best player in 2019. 

Beal scored 12 points against Louisville in the Final Four during her junior season to help South Carolina win the national title.

Brea Beal parents are Kevin Beal and Nicole Adamson. Kevin played college basketball for two years at The University of Texas at El Paso.

Kevin and Nicole were there to encourage their daughter when she won the 2019 Excellence award from Rock Island Rotary 2019. 

She learned to play basketball under his father's guidance. Her mom and dad have never criticized her for choosing sports; instead, they have inspired and motivated her to pursue her goals.

Nicole never missed Brea's game as she attends and cheers up every game. Kevin also helped her daughter in the gym in high school. 

As a basketball player, he looks for Brea's basketball, and Adamson looks after the family. 

Kevin Beal Basketball Career

Kevin played basketball for the Vikings in 1993. He earned first-team All-South Coast Conference honors in his freshman and sophomore season. 

In 1994, he helped lead LBCC to a state championship and the South Coast Conference Championship.

Kevin graduated from Long Beach with 1,480 career points as the all-time greatest scorer.

He finished his college education at the University of Texas-El Paso before transferring to play professionally in the Continental Basketball Association, International Basketball Association, and Southwestern Basketball Association.

Brea Beal Siblings

Brea Beal has three younger brothers, Baker Beal, Bakari Beal, and Bayron Beal. She spent her childhood with her brothers. 

Like Brea her brother Baker plays basketball for Fort Scott Community College. He joined Fort Scott on August 1, 2022. 

Bayron is nine years old as of 2023. During her signing ceremony in 2018, Beal displayed a University of South Carolina t-shirt to declare her choice to represent the Gamecocks.

The ceremony was also attended by his brother Bayron and Baker. She also hugged her mother and brother Baker during her singing ceremony at Rock Island High School.

Brea Beal is not related to Bradley Beal as they only share a similar surname. Both Bradley and Brea are professional basketball players.

Brea played college basketball for South Carolina Game Cocks, and Bradley played college basketball for Florida Gators.

Bradley is born to Bobby Beal and Besta Beal and has four brothers Brandon, Byron, Bruce, and Bryon. He was born on June 28, 1993, in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. 

He plays basketball professionally for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association. Before, he committed to play at the University of Florida. 

At the 2010 FIBA Under-17 World Championship, he represented the US and helped the country win by hitting an average of 18 points per game.

Committed to playing for Florida, he was named SEC freshman of the week and was a first-team All-SEC selection. 

Playing professionally for Wizard, he spent the entire season appearing in 56 games. At the end of the season, he was chosen to the NBA All-Rookie first team and came in third in the vote for the NBA Rookie of the Year award.

Jaycee is a professional football player. He plays for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

Jaycee was drafted in 2021 and played opposite Sam Darnold for two seasons. He is the son of former NFL player Joe Horn. 

Following his father's footsteps, he played college football at the University of South Carolina. 

Palying college football as a sophomore, he played in 12 games recording 40 tackles and named to the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2020, he started each of seven games at cornerback and was credited with 16 tackles. He recorded three tackles, two interceptions, and four pass breakups in the victory over Auburn.

He was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week and the SEC Defensive Player of the Week. He then prepared to join for the 2021 NFL Draft. 

Horn made his first career interception off Jameis Winston in the 26-7 win over the New Orleans Saints.
