Camilla Belle slams Taylor Swift who wrote the song Better than Revenge when Joe Jonas left her for

UNDER fire Taylor Swift has received even more shade in the midst of her feud with Kim Kardashian — this time from the woman who ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas left her for.

The 26-year-old singer is currently battling Kim, 35, and husband Kanye West, 39, over a video of her phone call with the rapper to discuss the controversial lyrics of his latest track, Famous, which Kardashian leaked on Snapchat on Sunday.

Swift has been accused of lying about whether she gave permission for her name to be included in the lyrics, and as the media furore surrounding the trio continues, actress Camilla Belle seemed to want to get in on the action.

The Sun reports that the 29-year-old shared a picture of a quote on her Instagram and Twitter pages which read: “No need for revenge. Just sit back & wait.

“Those who hurt you will eventually screw up themselves & if you’re lucky, God will let you watch (sic).”

She then added the hashtags #quoteoftheday, #happymonday, and #felizsegunda.

Bell’s post comes eight years after she was believed to be the subject of Swift’s song Better Than Revenge, after the star was left heartbroken when fellow singer Joe Jonas dumped her over the phone to be with Belle.

The couple had met on the set of his band the Jonas Brothers’ video Lovebug, and Swift did not take kindly to her fleeting romance with Jonas coming to an abrupt end.

Better Than Revenge lyrics include: “She’s not a saint/ And she’s not what you think/ She’s an actress/ She’s better known/ For the things that she does/ On the mattress.”

Belle’s comments come as Swift faces a wave of criticism over her feud with Kardashian and West.

Having previously insisted she had never given her approval to the song, Kardashian decided to share a series of videos on Snapchat of West discussing the controversial lyrics with Swift over the phone.

Swift can be heard saying the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” was “like a compliment”, the star has since insisted in an Instagram post she never agreed to the next line which features the words “that b**ch”.

The singer has accused the famous couple of “character assassination” and is reportedly considering taking legal action against them.

Meanwhile, Jonas and Belle split in 2009, and has since dated Demi Lovato, Gigi Hadid and actress Ashley Greene, while Swift has had a series of high profile romances with Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and most recently Calvin Harris, before ending the relationship to be with current beau, actor Tom Hiddleston.
