Ryan Phillippes baby mama brags about dating Seth MacFarlane, desperate?

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for this woman or to mock her. Either way, this story is kind of pitiful. You’ve probably long forgotten about a young actress named Alexis Knapp, just 22. She got knocked up with Ryan Phillippe’s baby and her pregnancy lasted longer than their relationship. She pulled some mild famewhore moves to make sure she kept her name in the press, including setting him up to be papped with her and leaking a few stories about him to the press.It wasn’t excessive, and she didn’t pose for a big baby spread like Jude Law’s crazy baby mama, Samantha Burke. Ryan seems to have been a stand-up guy when it came to taking responsibility. Alexis kind of stayed in the background afterwards, raising little Kailani Phillippe-Knapp, (yes she gave the baby Ryan’s last name as a hyphen), who turns one next week.

Well now she’s in the press again, and US Weekly has an exclusive that she used to date “Family Guy” creator, and now Ted director/producer, Seth McFarlane. So she doesn’t have a type, I guess, not that the guy isn’t highly doable. That’s used to date, and the story that US has makes it sound like Seth wanted to keep his relationship with her under wraps and gave her every lame excuse in the book. “I’m busy, I can’t be distracted from work,” etc. Then he broke it off and she went to US with the story. It makes her seem desperate, especially when you learn that she showed up at the Ted premiere all decked out and posed really, really hard. She probably thought “I’ll show him what he’s missing.” Sad.

Alexis Knapp — who gave birth last year to daughter Kailani with ex-boyfriend Phillippe — was quietly hooking up with the Family Guy creator earlier this year, an insider tells Us Weekly.

The Project X star, 23, first started seeing MacFarlane while she was pregnant (she and Phillippe split before she announced that she was expecting).

“She said she wasn’t really into it at the time,” the insider shared with Us at the premiere of MacFarlane’s big-screen debut, Ted.
The reason the comedian, 39, is hoping to keep their relationship under wraps?

“He doesn’t want to distract from Ted,” the source explained of the first-time filmmaker. “This [movie] is his baby.” (When reached for comment, a rep for MacFarlane insisted to Us that he and Knapp are not dating.)

Still, inside their circle of friends, their status as a former item is an open secret. “Alexis said people in the industry know about it,” the source said. “She really liked him and wants it to be official.”

This girl is only 22 years old, if IMDB is right. She’s very young, and I guess she doesn’t know better. She got played, and now she’s letting the whole world know about it. She needs more girlfriends to tell her what’s what. Maybe if she had more honest friends she wouldn’t have dyed her hair that awful monotone blonde color either. She was so much prettier as a brunette.

This also makes me lose respect for MacFarlane. He’s 38 and he’s dating little 22 year-old hangers-on.
